How do I add eggs to a vegan cake quick please...

I want to try Chunky Monkey cake on the namelymarly website but am not vegan & have never made cake without eggs before. Kinda scared too. How many eggs should I add. Will it come out moist & good without them? Help please!

We make vegan cakes without eggs (and without dairy) all the time, and our customers usually can't tell the difference between the vegan cake and a cake made with eggs. I'm sure it will be fine without eggs.

Zero. You should add zero eggs. It's vegan. No meat, no dairy, no eggs.

Why don't you try the recipe as wriiten. You may be pleasantly surprised and if you like it, you'll have a vegan offering in your repertoire.

Sorry, I thought you were making a vegan cake for a vegan. I do think you should try the recipe as written first. My vegan chocolate cake tastes great to this meat eater! The last time I made it, the guests all loved it, too!

I'd do as others have suggested and just make it as the recipie says. Cake recipes dont NEED eggs to work. I have often made the Chocolate Depression cake and some brownies at the weekend and probably numerous other recipes I cant think of off hand that had no eggs and turned out perfect. Not adding eggs would only be a problem if the recipe said you need to add them and you didn't (and didnt use some sort of replacement in that case)
