Size cake for 100 peopl

Hi Everyone,
I am hoping to get some insight.

I have to do a cake for 100 people and only 3 tiers just trying to figure out the best way to make the cake look good. Initially i would have thought 16-14-12 inches but that would be way too big and wouldn't look too nice.

Any insight or help would be greatly appreciated.

Make a nice balanced cake for show but have extra not embellished cakes out the back for cutting as well

A 12-9-6 round cake would give you exactly 100 servings according to the Wilton chart for wedding-size slices (1"x2").

(figure is based on a 2-layer, 4" high cut as 1.5"x2" serving portions)

Here are two options that I think look good together. I have personally done the bottom one and the cake got rave reviews!

6" round ~ 12 ppl
10" square ~ 30 ppl
14" round ~ 63 ppl
= 105 servings

6" round ~ 12 ppl
10" round ~ 28 ppl
14" square ~ 63 ppl
= 103 servings

Thanks Everyone!
I can only do round cakes as that is what the bride wants with the design.

I have a different list for cake sizes i will definietly keep the Wilton one as a reference.

Thanks jason_kraft i'll most likely use that one!
