I have had my KitchenAid mixer for over 15 years but the bowl is starting to pop off the base when I try to mix heavier icing and cookie dough.
Has anyone had this problem before? Should I just replace the bowl?
Would love to replace the mixer but it is not economical right now.

Check to see if the clip at the back is loose. Sometimes it comes unscrewed a little and it lets the bowl release.
