But is there a difference between a fondant sheeter and a dough sheeter? Or can I use a dough sheeter to roll out my fondant?

I'm guessing there is a difference, but considering I've never used one.... lol

I don't think there's a difference...but I've never used one either. They are expensive pieces of equipment and take up a lot of space. If they made a foldable one I would consider it...but then it probably wouldn't work very well...!

No difference. I worked at a bakery once where the owner of the building had donated to us an old pizza dough sheeter he had from a pizza place he used to own. We used it all the time -- those things are AWESOME!!

That is VERY good news. Much easier to find a used dough sheeter! lol

Sheeters come in a variety of sizes and some styles fold upward so they take very little floor space when not in use. And they can often be found as used equipment.
