I'm making cupcakes for a party at a bar on St Patrick's Day. On Cupcake Wars I saw a baker who made cupcakes with a shooter stuck in it. How would I do that? What would make a good shooter container that's not breakable. Any good flavor combo's?
choc can hold a certain amount of liquid so that is one option but I would probably just go with a cocktail flavored cupcake and avoid the risk of the liquid.
Margarita cupcakes (with real tequila)
Guiness Choc cake with Irish Cream filling (my most popular flavor)
Strawberry Daquiri
You can turn almost any drink into a cupcake flavor so the sky is the limit.
Not sure if this is what your speaking of, but can the shot be inside the straw in the cupcake? So if you cut large diameter straws into appropriate lengths + 1/2 inch, then flame the bottoms quickly and pinch with pliers they should seal. Fill and stick in cupcake. You'd have to fill very slowly so to give time for the liquid to go down and the air come out, but doable.
i love the idea of this but im confused do you have the straw come up out of the cc. take a drink then eat??? id love to do jamason whiskey and a chocolate baileys cc
Thanks - I really like the 6" test tube. I'm going to try the straw thing and see if it keeps liquid in.
