Can anyone tell me how to make the number "13" for a cake topper? I need it about 4" tall. I need it for Friday night so I need to come up with something quick. it will have to have something to stick in the cake to hold it up.
Thanks for your help

Either cut or model it out of gum paste. Make it thick enough to insert a skewer while still fresh. Let it dry for several days and it will be firm enough to stand.
Print out the number in the size and font you like. Then place a piece of parchment or wax paper over the print out. Roll out a long snake out of fondant mixed with gumtex or tylose. Then shape the snake to follow your print out. As mentioned, insert a skewer at the bottom of each number, The 3 is tricky because it's curved along the bottom. Plan to add small balls of fondant or flowers to the base of the 3 to help hide the skewer. Give them a couple of days to dry. Also make 2 of each, if you don't you'll break one. If you do, you won't break it and you'll have a spare set
I roll out a rope and shape it into numbers. Insert skewers into bottom and let dry. Super easy and I have several pictures in my photos.
