I have been asked to make cupcakes with navy blue frosting and silver decorations, which i didn't think would be a problem!

But i have just made my buttercream pale and fluffy then added lots of cocco powder to help with the base colour and then added a teaspoon of navy colouring but it has still turned out dark green?!

Please help with any tips or advice it would be much appreciated icon_cry.gif

Aw thanks that's really helpful. I have also just sent my other half off to get me some Flora White and that's made a lot of difference to the colour, it is blue instead of green lol!

I now have Navy blue buttercream! icon_biggrin.gif
