Hi Everyone,
I am trying to find a mini cupcake pan that is deeper than a standard mini cupcake pan. I know that the standard mini cupcake pan is between 3/4" to 1" deep. I was wondering if there is a pan that is deeper than that... I have seen mini cupcakes sold at Walmart/Sam's Club (pre-packaged) that look a bit deeper. I am not sure if they are baked in a different pan or using different cupcake liners. Everytime I bake my minis they come out "wide" instead of "tall" Any help/advice you could give me would be appreciated. I just want my minis to stand up nice and tall.

I've been looking for this too. I noticed the ones at Walmart also and I like that amount of cake better the the itty bitty ones. Hopefully someone can answer...

I bought one before CHristmas because I only had a 12 cup mini pan (Wilton I think). I was at Bed, Bath & Beyond and bought the 24 cup that they had. I assumed it was the same cup size as the one I had. It turned out not to be, and was a little wider and definitely deeper. I used the regular mini cupcake liners in it without issue. I think it was a Calphalon pan but could have been a Chicago Metallic.
