Sweet! I'm so jealous! =)

You will love it. Every time I use mine, I wish I did more cakes so I could use it more often.

I could've written the above.

Did you get the Senior or the Junior? I love them all (I now have three. Don't hate me.) The Junior is just FAB for cakes 14" or smaller. Best. Cake. Tool. Ever!

I love mine! But my husband over tightens everything (I once used a knife to cut the entire top off a plastic bottle while he was at work) and he cracked the plastic part of the knobs that are used to keep the blade in position. One came off, and I have to use pliers to adjust it icon_evil.gificon_mad.gificon_evil.gif
Beginners, be sure to parrot advice and get your post count up as fast as you can. After all, it's not what you know, it's what people THINK you know.

I believe on Agbay`s website they have replacement parts available for a few dollars. The pieces youre having trouble with might be listed there.

I got the Senior. I figured I should just go for it!

Leah - you said the jr is good for cakes up to 14". Their website says through 12". Have you been able to use it to level a 14" cake? I can't really justify the expense for an Agbay as I only do cakes for my family, but if I can get by with the jr, I might do it anyway.

bump. 14 inches?

No, the website is correct. The Jr cuts a 12" cake.

I really wished they made a 14". I have the 20" and I don't use it that often. I think that the 12" would be to small. When I need a small leveler I use the Wilton 10". The one with the wire and not the foldable one.

I recently went ahead and purchased the junior. Cuts a 9x13 across the 13". I think it will work to cut around the edges of a 14" but then I might need to use my Wilton to finish off the center. At least I should have level cuts to guide the Wilton.

Yes I really wished I could cut a 14 inch cake with it. I don't believe I need the 20 inch one. 14 would have been perfect. I'll probably still get the Junior.

I have Wilton cake pans and found that my Agbay Junior cuts my 14" cake with a little room to spare. The blade is 14" and it is almost 15" between the legs. I believe I've read that not all 14" pans are actually 14", so you might need to check your pan.
