Hi CC members, I need some help, advice, how to's or a swift kick in the rear!
A friend wants me to make a 3d godzilla cake for her hubby's groom cake and I am so lost as how to do the structure for it?????
I have done a ton of cakes, way more than listed in my photos, but ive never had to do one that needed a support structure as I am thinking this one might need?
Not even sure where to begin, so please anyone who can help me pull this off please DO!

Its not due til April so I have plenty of time to practice!!! I just dont wanna have to say no! This is just an area I have been so afraid to venture, but am thinking maybe its time to get my feet wet!!!!!

Thank you all!!!!![/img]

Greetings,
I just did some research on stand up cakes and found that building a armature for a cake structure will allow you to create the godzilla cake that you want. I found this website where is man did such a thing: http://www.zerogravity.com.au/blog/2008/11/lion-king-cake-and-more/ he made an armature using wood and a wire hanger etc to build two lion king lions and the monkey. Just look around and google "armature" for sculpting etc and I'm sure you'll be able to work it out.
