Amigurumi - how to do?

Came across the most adorable teddy bear cupcakes with an amigurumi patter. ANY idea how to replicate this pattern in an edible cupcake? It is so cute!

I would think you could just use a round tip and pipe it in dots like you would pipe with a star tip. I hope this works for you. Good luck!

You could use a smaller round tip and make little loops instead of making dots. Kinda like piping individual pieces of grass but instead of pulling straight out loop it back. Or like doing a rope border just going across in a line instead of around the perimeter. Hopefully that makes sense. Good luck!
