Hi to Everyone - I am hoping someone can help me . . . my nephew is celebrating his 6th birthday and I am planning to make him a guitar cake. I would like to do an actual stand-up guitar cake, similar to the one - if anyone can remember - that was done by the Cake Girls a while back that was shown on Amazing Wedding Cakes. Does anyone else remember that episode? And if so, do you remember how they were able to do the stand-up part of the cake to make it look more realistic.

Any help would be so appreciated.

Hi cakewishes! What type of guitar? I tried to do a flying stand up guitar, but I failed, I just did a regular flat one. I hope someone can help you. I will be watching your post for any anwers that you get. Good luck

I wanted to do an electric guitar sort of standing up on a base. And I remember an episode of Amazing Wedding Cakes where The Cake Girls did a stand-up guitar cake and I have been searching the episode and cannot find it to see how they did it.
