If anyone has any tips they would be greatly appreciated! I'm thinking maybe modeling chocolate?

I've made similar bows and I did it with gum paste.
Rolled out the accent color and cut the stripes and then rolled out the base color and added the stripes, cut to size and formed into loops to dry.
It was tedious but it looked good when it was all put together.

I'm worried about cracking and elephant skin with black fondant. Also getting it so straight!

Off topic I know, sorry..
but I LOVE the idea with the chocolate chips (peanut butter, butterscotch..whatever they may be) around the base! It would also be really cute to have filled the clear base with them!
I hope people can give you some direction on how to make the bow! It's very cute!

Thanks! That tutorial makes it look so easy. Black on white stuff always makes me nervous!
