There are a few blogs that I check out daily, and LilaLoa is one of them. A little while ago she posted about how she edits her photos, and what she uses to do it.
Over the last few days I have been going through my pictures, and editing them all, what a difference it makes! I see sooo many poorly shot cakes on here, that would benefit from a little editing and cropping, so I thought I'd share this article in case anyone else was looking for help on how to make their cakes look more professional without having to set up studio area or buy a fancy camera.

Here's how she does it: http://lilaloa.blogspot.com/2012/01/photo-editing-for-cookie-makers-not.html

I tried to attach a before and after of one of my cakes, because the difference is amazing, if the photos don't show up, just look at hers for proof.

Hope this helps someone out there!

PS, you can also use the program that she uses to change the size so it's small enough to post in a forum post, just learned that one, lol. Just go to image, then resize (I think thats what the tabs were) then move it down to the pixels needed. icon_smile.gif

**edited to remove the pictures because it insisted on doubling them.**

Interesting. Thanks for posting. I use Photoshop, and was surprised to see the end result wasn't all messed up in the link.

Too bad we didn't get to view your end results. You should upload your photos again... the glitch isn't your fault, and we can deal with duplicates!
