I love the recipe for RVC that I got on this website. Am wondering if I took out the red food coloring, substituted equal amt of liquid and then just added some pink gel coloring...........do you think it would work for a Pink Velvet Cake?

Your idea for Pink Velvet should work just fine. I'm not familiar with CC Red Velvet, but I've made Pink Velvet with my own recipe just by reducing the red coloring. It looks quite nice!
