Bc Roses Piped With 1M All Over Cake - How?
Decorating By bluedaisies Updated 9 Jan 2012 , 12:18am by Marianna46
I keep seeing these cakes with buttercream roses all over the cake, how do you do this? I saw someone say that "I Am Baker" has a tutorial, but I can't find it.. help please? I'd love to learn this technique.
Start at the center of the rose and spiral outwards. Make a few practice ones before decorating your cake to make sure this is what you want. Those are very pretty cakes and quite easy to do.

Maybe I'm just making it more difficult than it is... but wouldn't the roses around it get in the way of making more?
Apparently it's very simple to do, bluedaisies. I haven't made one yet, although I'm planning to soon. But here's the link to i am baker's tutorial, and it seems to be fairly straightforward:

Thank you! Exactly what I needed! Now that I SEE it, I understand it. Definitely looks easy, will have to try it. Thanks!!
You're very welcome. Let me know how it turns out, okay?
Well I just HAD to try it out.. so I did a mini version from a 4" cake I had in the freezer. Pic is in my gallery, red roses.
