You need to read the rules of each particular competition.
I like Chef Rubber. There are many other suppliers that are recommended in "dummy" threads that you can search and review for comments.
Sorry, i did search and only found one, sorry if I ticked you off. This is my first post~I have read the rules, I know you can use either. I was just curious what most people liked to do.
As the other posted said, if you can use a dummy or real cake depends on the perticular contest. All of the shows I entered allowed dummy cakes.
Sorry, don't know the best place to order. I think many got/get theirs from dallas foam dot com.
Best prices I have found is Dallas-Foam dot com.
Thanks Vista! They do have great prices.

I've never had a search provide only one result. There are 470 pages of results for "dummies":

I don't know why you think you ticked me off... I offered my opinion. If I was annoyed by your request, I wouldn't have answered the question(s). Do what you want with the advice.
If you want to narrow down the search results, you can type in more keywords separated by the word "and". Example: dummy AND supplier.

It didnt come up with just one post. It had many. Im very tech savy I can search. Its just going through them, Ill admit I did not have time to go through 400. Many were about dummy cakes, but not where they got the. Soooo, I just thought I would ask the question to get easier direct answers.
And I thought you were annoyed by your answer, because I didnt search...but if you werent great. No big deal.
