I have an idea but for the life of me I just can't pin down a design. it's for a cake competition, theme is black, white and red (valentine's day) I started off with a whimsical design, black tie, oscars and then flew off the handle with an upside down 4 tier with pulled sugar roses...OMG>..my brain is going to in a million directions!! Any tips on how to narrow down?? I want to stand out from the crowd and challenge myself in the process..

I'm overthinking and beating myself up at this point. I am going up against professional bakeries so I'm a bit nervous and just really want to make a name for myself. The first part of the judging is done by the guests. It's a benefit dinner/cake competition so first impression is crucial. I have to sit down and start sketching things out...maybe it will come to me!
