I thought it kind of looked like a pin-up girl posing, like laying/sitting up facing you? Like how it is in the first image.

This cookie cutter is a geographical location, such as a state, or a country, a contanent, possible even an individual county or parish within a state. I actually have a set of California cookie cutters with all the counties. Shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

Ok, after mud flap girl this was actually my second thought (not mermaid) but then I thought - who is making pin up girl cookie cutters and where would you even buy one? Mermaid seemed much more plausible. icon_lol.gif But that is totally what it looks like to me too.

Check out this site, http://geology.com/state-map/, you should be able to click on each state to see a detailed shape of the state outline and of each county/parish. Also look for diffenent countries. I really suck at geograhpy so I have no idea which state it could be, but allowing for expansion of the dough as it cooks, I would say florida would be a good one to start with.

This is like a litmus test, lol. I wonder what it says about us?

I would rather make 1 cake for $150, than 3 for $50 each.

Top left, I see a skier. He's bent way down at the knees, with his elbows bent out behind him. The long skinny part is his skis.

icon_rolleyes.gif Looks to me like a moose head with out antlers ( top right) looks like his head is on the wall or some thing.....lol just another of many great possibilties!!! looks like you can use this as so many cutters all in one!!! Is it stamped with a name brand or manufacturer? That would be helpful.

If not, do you think it's possibly a handmade one-of-a-kind shape?

Amazing how we all see things so differently.

To me, it could not be anything but a bird and I see this idea has a few other takers, too.
