recipe for mini cast iron skillet cookie and brownie??

I recieved two cute little iron skillets for Christmas - one was packaged as a 'cookie kit' - it had a recipe on the back and some dry ingredients in a bag. the other was a brownie kit. Can't wait to try them BUT will need a recipe for the dry ingredients if i ever want to use more then once icon_wink.gif

The cookie recipe on the back says to add 1 egg, 1 tsp vanilla and 1/4 cup softened butter to dry ingredients, mix and add to skillet. bake for 10 min. the dry ingredients are in a baggy and include flour, sugar, brown sugar, salt and sodium bicarbonate but the amounts of each are not given ;(

The brownie recipe on the back of the package says to add 1 egg and 1/4 cup of softened butter to the dry ingredients.

In both cases the dry ingredients look to be about 1 cups worth and the skillets are about 6 inches in diameter.

I'm hoping someone has a suggestion of what amounts of dry ingredients to use or a recipe i can try so that this cute little skillet doesn't go to waste?

I'll give you a bump, lol. I bought my son's teacher one and was hoping to get one for myself today from the clearance aisle but they were gone! They are super cute, can't wait to hear how they taste though.

thanks Yums! i couldn't wait so just made the choc chip cookie version... it says it takes 10 min - it took 30!!! but was huge and more cake like in the middle than i expected... good but a bit salty - ie you could cleary taste salt - not what i want in a choc chip cookie ;( but we covered it in ice cream and whipped cream and some choc sauce and it was great icon_wink.gif

i've read that you can use any ready made cookie dough but i wanted to make it vs using premade dough - that way i can adjust the sugar/salt to my liking icon_wink.gif

but if i don't get any replies i may just have to go with good old pillsbury in a tube icon_smile.gif

Hi. Martha Stewart has a skillet chocolate chip cookie recipe. You can probably have the recipe for your 6 inch pans. Also Ina Garten has a recipe for mini skillet prownies. Hope this helps.
