I baked some sugar cookies tonight. I thought they were done, took them out, put my daughter to bed, and came back down to discover that they need another minute or so. They were cooling although not completely cooled.

Problem is-I used GF flour and don't have any more (my friend lent me some and this was the leftover). My son's preK teacher is GF, so I was baking these for her as part of a Christmas gift.

Thank you!

Put your cookies back into the oven for a few minutes. I've done this before and it's worked just fine. (But really, you have nothing to lose, right?) Good luck!

Would you be willing to share the recipe you used? I baked GF sugar cookies last night using a mix, but the cookies spread a little during baking and lost some of their shape. They're still edible, but don't look as good as I would've liked and I would like to try a different recipe. Thanks!
