I decided to give homemade candy canes a try after taking a pulled/blown sugar class this summer. I ave my sugar flavored, colored, and pulled, and it's under the heating lamp getting back up to temp so I can start shaping some candy canes. I gotta say, that Lorann Oils Cinnamon flavor is pretty potent! I used a full dram on a recipe twice the size of the suggested one on their website, and I had to leave the kitchen for a minute after adding the flavor b/c my eyes were watering and I couldn't stop coughing!

Anyway, I've only made 2 so far, but I'm having a grand ole time. Anyone else thinking about doing this?
