I have been trying to make a dent in my christmas cookie calendar but have been having a heck of a time with a rambunctious 18month old at my feet so i gave myself a reward today- I TOOK THE DAY OFF WORK AND TOOK HIM TO DAYCARE ANYWAY! Hehehehe... I feel a lil' guilty though. He only goes to daycare one or two days a week though, and he absolutely loves it, so I am taking some comfort in knowing he's having a blast =] Now, to get started on these dozens upon dozens.... I've got a clipboard with my 20 or so favorite recipes all set up and reasy to go.

Besides decorated cookies, what types of cookies are all of you making for christmas? I've got some time (lol), Maybe you can inspire me with a new favorite recipe!
