This may be an odd question and I hope I articulate well enough to explain. In clothing design, we use sketch templates of the body to draw on for working out design ideas. Does anyone know if there are similiar sketch templates available anywhere for cake designing? I know there would have to be numerous templates for tiers and such, but I was curious and thought I'd take a chance and ask...

You can sometimes find 3-tier cake stamps online. Otherwise you could contact a company who makes stamps and ask them to make you one if there is a particular template that you use often.

I drew out various plain cake templates and scanned them into my computer so that I can use them over and over again. I either print them out each time I need them, or design over them directly on my iPad.

I would be happy to upload them if you think they would be useful.

Thank you, both! I did an internet search earlier today and found a couple templates, as well. I can draw my own but I am always thankful if something already exists, rather than trying to reinvent the wheel, so to speak.
