Candy Clay?

I thought I might play around with some candy clay, but don't know anything about it. For those of you that have used it, is it kinda like fondant, can you shape and mold it. Thanks in advance for any adviceicon_smile.gif

yes its kind of like fondant. Give it a try you won't know if you like it until you do.

As you knead it in your hands it will soften. You can do most things with clay that you do with fondant. You can cover cakes, make figures, and it make beautiful roses. If it gets too soft, stick it in the fridge for a few minutes. If you are doing a complex sculpture, chill it in stages.

You can store it for a long time, but it can get dry edges. roll in into a smooth disk and wrap it tightly, then put it in an airtight container.
