I hope somebody can help me.I am very new to this and just made my first cool cake on Thanksgiving.I have a friend who is graduating from nursing school next week and I've been searching for ideas.I decided I want to make one of a scrub top and decorations on it,that seems to be a very common cake design.I have no idea how to do it.I dont know anything about designer pans, fondant, etc.I'm just now learning what fondant is.sad I know.I have found out that I really enjoy trying to make these really neat cakes so I dont want to break down and just hire somebody to do it.I made two of the turkey cakes for practice and really enjoyed it so I want to tackle this one myself as well.can anybody steer me in the right direction?

You could make a stethoscope out of fondant or even just pipe it on with buttercream.

I would not get a special pan. Just bake a sheet cake and cut one end off and make into sleeves. Ice the whole thing and decorate. Maybe even make a little name tag too!

The easiest way to make the scrub is to take a print out or draw the same on the piece of paper. Then put it on top of the sheet cake(9*13) and then carve it out.
Then add the accents like stethoscope and name tag etc..

I just did a medical cake, but it's not a scrub top. It's in my photos. PM me if you have any questions.
