hi everybody !
i made this lovely cake for a daycare center, they wanted a white cake with a dove and i just went simple and drew one with the little branch and all on fondant. they also wanted a light blue "blanket" on the cake and it all was super easy to make so, i was soooo happy with the results... until.... i went to get it from the refrigerator to have it handy since they were on their way to pick it up and i saw light blue marks falling down the sides. i felt awful and i managed to clean the mess and what u could still see wasn't that bad.
what did i do wrong? is this normal? help me, please?!

It sounds like there was condensation from the temperature change between the refrigerator and room temperature. I don't use fillings that have to be refrigerated for this reason, and always leave fondant covered cakes at room temperature.
