Making a chocolate-cherry stout cake with dk chocolate glaze from Martha Stewart weddings site for a friend's reception tomorrow (a gift). Cake looks good, working on glaze, but the recipe calls for :
1/4 cp sugar
1/2 cp water
11 oz bittersweet chocolate
unfortunately the directions say: Heat sugar, cornstarch and water..... "cornstarch"? what cornstarch? Can't get answers from the website - anybody want to offer a suggestion/good guess on how much cornstarch?
