I have to say it's a mixed impression. Overall I prefer the clean look, but as an IT professional, I wonder what resolution your web designer thought he was designing for. These days with more people having larger monitors, the pages should be larger. In the old days, websites were optimized for a 600x800 resolution. More and more people use 1024x768 or larger on much larger monitors. The frame set being used is far too narrow leaving way too much white space on both sides. If the navigator across the top was wider, the the whole frame would be wider. Having to scroll through so many more pages to read a thread is time consuming.

Having to click my username to access my profile and only the being able to click the arrow beside my username to get access to My Favourite Recipes, My Photos, and My Favourite Photos. My Forum Posts should be in this list as well. But I shouldn't have to access my profile first before I can see that list of options. That should be available by clicking the arrow from any page of the site that I am on.

And I agree about not being able to see how many people have viewed my photos and how many have marked it as a favourite, when looking at them all on a page. Having to open each photo to see how many people marked it as a favourite is an extra step I don't want to have to do.

I forgot to mention that even though I could find My Favourite Recipes, there was nothing there! They are all gone and I had lots saved! All I get instead is:

This site is no longer compatible with Internet Explorer 7. There are no pictures (except ads) on the home page, ads are placed over the forum content, etc. Okay, I hear everyone saying "Upgrade to a newer browser version!" I have done that at home, but I can't at work because quite a few of our systems (large university) were written for IE7 and not all have been rewritten yet. Okay, now I hear you saying "Stop looking at CC at work!" I will miss looking at it on my lunch hour.

It took a while but I found the My Favourite Recipes under your profile. If you click up in the top right on your username it will take you to your profile. Click the downward arrow beside your username again and you'll get a menu where you can choose your Favourite Recipes. I don't like it either.

I forgot to say that even though I found where they are, all of mine are missing and I just have a piece of code displayed!

Okay, I found some of my stuff under my user name, but not all, and the down-arrowhead doesn't work like it should.

i can't get to ANYTHING! other than the fact that this site was always super slow-mo, this site was fine. please change it back, only make it faster. i really hate the idea of not coming back to this site because it has gone totally stupid. thanks.

I am really disappointed that I can't access my saved recipes. I really needed one of those recipes for a cake I am going to make. I also am disappointed to find out that you can't easily find recipes like before. I use to go to the recipe page and then I could select a category and find many recipes however, there are no longer categories under the recipe page. Very disappointed.

where's the log out option? i enjoyed the previous website look. it had a very simplistic way of getting to where you wanted to go, plus it seemed more personable before the change.change is good but the jury is out on this change...at least for now.

I always think that changes can be Good. I so far have found that when looking at the NEW cake pics that the initial pics are too small. I would imagine people with sight issues would find it very hard. Would be great if the size could be bigger. Would be more user friendly. Also cannot find my favourite recipes and also to upload new pics I cannot seem to do this at the moment. I guess these are perhaps isssues that are still being worked on.

I have to add to my previous comment that when in the Forums, the colums are too narrow. It's difficult to see the Topic titles in their current format. This column needs to be much wider.

I'm not at all a fan... the adds are overwhelming and its no longer pleasurable to view the site... maybe it looks different from a desktop or laptop but there are more adds then content... very tacky.

The adds are covering the forum. So far I am not to happy with it.

and I can't search th recipes? Oh this is more bad news.

and i'm guessing the drop downs just aren't working because there aren't any
