Don't you just hate when customers under estimate EVERY aspect of a cake?!!! I received a call today for a carved 3D ford mustang cake. We talked for awhile, discussing the detailing and price. then she mentions she only needs it to serve 2 icon_eek.gif ....ummmmm Seriously do people think we can carve a cupcake!!! icon_confused.gificon_surprised.gif

YES! even worse, they think it will cost little more than the price of a cupcake. Someone wants me to make a horse, not the head, the whole horse cake , carved for one person! So it should be the price of just one little bitty cake right? So annoying! Gotta love our customers but sometimes it's just so frustrating!

Ha ha thank you for the laugh - the exact same thing happened to me the other day. Asked if I can do the lego brick cake (it serves over 100) just for her and her boyfriend... what can u do with that lol???! I thought maybe I could buy a chocolate biscuit and cover it with fondant to make a lego brick??!
