Hi icon_smile.gif
i have a request for a cake for a 10yr old girl, 'just do something girly' was the request. . . . easy i thought but i am now having sleepless nights :/. . . . . she is a girly girl but doesnt want anything too young like castles, fairies, etc but nothing to old either like handbags and shoes. I suggested a girly giant cupcake but her mam said no as she has a giant cupcake mould herself and the daughter often makes them, just do anything she said. please please help with some ideas icon_smile.gif. . . . . . . . also she doesnt want a large cake as its just for the family (about icon_cool.gif

Hi there - what about a butterfly theme? Not too old or young and can be as pink and girly as you like icon_smile.gif

If she likes animals, pets - cats, dogs, horses. Or sweets cake - one of these with giant lollypops, candies. You can also always use flowers on all these cakes.

How about a gift box adorned with a large bow and lots of "curly ribbon". Can be birthday girl's favorite colors and pattern for gift wrap can be flowers, butterflies, etc.

Polka dots, stripes, ruffles. Bright pink and green colors, maybe with some purple and yellow. Daisies or other flowers are also very girly. Cakes like this are really fun, enjoy it! icon_smile.gif
