Pvc Pipe For My Structure Questions

Okay, settled on mickey mouse sitting using pcv pipe. Does anyone have any advise on using rice crispies/pcv/fondant?

I'm just so afraid its not going to stay on.

I'm not sure if some people use royal icing as a glue, I just press it very firmly, let it settle, then press some more. It is alot of patience. I did see in 1 tutorial online where a woman used royal icing as an adhesive when she made a manequin w/a dress using pvc pipe as the support structure. Hope this helps...

I have noticed switching to melted white chocolate spread over the rice cripies seems to hold the fondant better and it seems to make it smoother. I watched that on Ultimate cake off
