Hi everyone, my name is Rebecca and I am new on here. I have just recently started cake designing after an accident and medical issues. I am not quite sure how to make friends or do forums...so I hope this posts!!!

Welcome! There are a lot of really talented people on this site who are willing to help by sharing information, recipes and techniques. You'll learn a lot from these people. I've only been decorating cakes for a year now and am a hobby baker who still has a lot to learn, and the sharing on this site is really worth it's weight in gold! Hope to see you here often.

I am new on here too and just getting the hang of it. I learn lots and post helpfull hints that I might have to help others. Have fun on here!

My name is Cassandra, and I am new to this site, but am already addicted! I bake cookies, teacakes, and regular cakes on the side, but I am ready to start decorating cakes also.

Hi, to all of you and welcome to the site. I love to come here everyday and read what others has to say and also give my opinions also. I tell everyone , i know a lot, but i don,t know everything.Sometimes i learn something new from a new decorator. Thats a good thing. So, don,t mind voicing your opinions and asking questions. I do both. Welcome again.

I am also new to cake decorating. I took 3 Wilton classes with my son, made for interesting Mother/Son bonding,but didn't do much with decorating afterwards. I am a frequent visitor to this site; the cakes are fabulous and the recipes are yummy. I recently decided to get away from my computer and try my hand at some of these amazing confections. Just recently posted my attempt at a petal cake, not too awful for a newbie.

Like a few other posts in here I am also a newbie. Love this site and haven't stopped reading since I joined. I have been decorating for about 2 years and just love the information on this site.

Lots of newbie talent out there! I've been here a little while and have learned so much. I am self taught and a hobbyist. You'll learn a lot. Don't be afraid to ask for honest critiques...I think that's the best way to learn. I love seeing all the talent on here from some of the finest decorators I've ever seen. You get great ideas for techniques and style. Enjoy your new addiction!
