am abt 6weeks preg and nausea is getting the best of me.cant stand smell even those i used to love...cinnamon. Am really strugling and at the same time dont want to disapoint my clients.
Is there someone you know or trust to help you out? Maybe they could help with parts of the baking that you currently are experiencing troubles with?
Congratulations on your pregnancy!
But.... i totally understand your pain! I set up my business and soon after found out I was pregnant. I then had hyperimesis gravidarum which is hardcore morning sickness! (Day and night grossness, on a drip etc)
Doing cakes while feeling so poorly is rubbish, but for most regular people (excluding me ) it passes after 3-4 months of pregnancy.
Until then, try wrapping up warm and opening all the windows while you're baking to blow the smell through. Fresh air really helps so much. If there's a smell that you're ok with, try having some essential oils on a hanky nearby so you can give it a sniff if you're dealing with a tricky smelling ingredient.
Hope you feel better soon - put your feet up as often as you can - the first few months are blooming tiring x
Keep a lemon handy. I had terrible morning sickness with my youngest. Lemons were the only thing that helped. When I got nauseous I just cut one in half and took a lick. Worked like a charm. I know it sounds weird, but I found the remedy online, and it was the only thing that worked.
thanx guys will definately give ur suggetions a try am sure i will eventually find something that will work for me.as for someone to help dont have anyone yet ?
