I have a cake order with a vanilla filling. Im just getting started in cake decorating and Im not sure what kind of filling that would be. If anyone has any advice I would love to hear it.
Thanks!
Could be a vanilla pastry cream. That would be my first thought. But I would ask to clarify what they are referring to.
Hi and Congrats on your first post, Katee_Ann.
Once option is to use the sleeved pastry fillings (shelf stable), as the filled cake doesn't require refrigeration:

Here is a vanilla custard recipe that I've used before with great results:

I'm assuming that the filling amounts are for one layer of filling per size. Would this be correct?
Thank you all for your help and advice! I will ask them more about the filling and will try out the recipes. Thank you!
Could also be a Vanilla butter cream. I believe I found the recipe here on CC, it's made
with liquid Vanilla coffee creamer...it's very good
