Have any of you used white chocolate under fondant on a carrot cake/cream cheese filling? If so does it taste ok or would it be too sweet. I'd use cream cheese frosting but find its not stable enough under the fondant. Any suggestions or opinions welcome please. Making cake tonight and covering cake tomorrow. Thank u icon_smile.gif

I use a white chocolate cream cheese crusting buttercream on my carrot cake. It's a variation of IndyDebi's buttercream that Mamawrobin posted in a thread. You can find it on page 3 of this thread.

I use all-butter buttercream with butter flavor added. It's really yummy, but someone on this site suggested using cheesecake flavor (?) by Lorann. I thought it was a great suggestion that I will try next time.
