So I am new to working with fondant and wanted to know your favorite homemade choice. Do you love Marshmallow Fondant or Michele Foster's Delicious Fondant better? I have used Wilton's to make figures with and hate the taste! Thanks and have a great day!

I don't know about anyone else, but I LOVE the marshmellow fondant. Have never tried Michele Foster's but I find the mmf so easy to make and it tastes like candy so I have yet to have a complaint. I wish I could find a ready made fondant that tasted great just because of the time to make, but so far no luck.

I much prefer Michele's fondant. I had been using MMF for about a year, and my biggest problem was that because the fondant never hardened or set up, even when I rolled the fondant thin, it was sag over time and get lumpy. With Michele's my cakes look so much better and keep there nice crisp edges! I think this is because the fondant sets up before the buttercream underneath starts to soften. It takes a little getting used to, but I am now a convert and will never go back to MMF!

Michele's hands down. It has a great consistency that is comparable to the popular commercial brands. MMF is too springy for me and too sweet too.

Michele's hands down! The taste is better. You can make it ahead of time and it stores likie a dream!
