Hey all! Im tired of spending the extra dime for cookie cutters, and am going to try and make my own. Thing is, im not sure if the images im printing out to do so are to big. I have no prior knowledge in cookie size aside from drop/scoop cookies.

Help?

I have cookie cutters in tons of differents sizes. I think whatever size you want them to be is fine.

Usually 3-4 inches tall, normal depth between 3/4 of an inch & an inch but they do come in ALL sizes. icon_wink.gif

When making my patterns, I usually try to go with a 3 1/2" square as my base. Sometimes the design needs to be bigger due to complexity. There is no standard that I am aware of....it's all up to the decorator!

I agree with GeminiRJ. I personally like thicker, smaller cookies, but some designs just scream for a bigger cookie!
