hi guys, i am doing my friends wedding cake 2morrow and i have to pip swirls in black onto the white, but im worried about to bleeding.....dose anyone have any sujestion to help in? coz i will feel so bad too i stuff the cake on her special day...any help im VERY thankful for

Are you using royal icing? No it should not bleed just make sure to be careful and don't smear it or you will have a mess.

I pipe with black buttercream all the time and it doesn't bleed. But if in doubt use royal icing.

I hate to make royal icing because everything has to be grease free.

I've piped with black buttercream before without any problems.

One thought, though--I use a buttercream that does not require refrigeration (Sugar Shack's recipe). I think that you could run into trouble with it bleeding if you were to place the completed cake in the fridge and then remove it to room temperature. This would cause some condensation, which *may* make it bleed.
