HI, youtube is full of all kinds of tutorial, from beginners to advanced decorating. I have been decorating 17 yrs, and i still go there and just sit and watch it all. hth So many are on there showing you how to make buttercream of all types. Fondant covered cakes, etc. Chocolate roses. Gumpaste flowers of all kinds, etc. Anything you want and need to know is there for you. Just type it in the search space and you will see.

You're not stupid, everyone is a beginner at some point. The pro's had to learn from somewhere!

Here's a good set of videos by Edna De La Cruz, she shows you everything from making buttercream to icing a cake to making gumpaste flowers.

The best thing you can do is read the forums on this website and watch videos on youtube. That's what I did, I started caking in June 2009 and I've never been to a cake class.

It's not stupid to overlook everyone's signature line that isn't referred to... it wasn't my intent to draw attention to it in the first place.

I just wondered if there is anything specific that you'd like to learn or are having a hard time with (borders, flowers, writing, etc.?). We could provide more pertinent links, if we had more information about what you're looking for help with. (If you can't find what you want, perhaps I can make another video!)
