Hello all,
I'm baking a raspberry filled cake, iced with buttercream. I'm also planning on adding details with gumpaste/fondant mix. Because of the filling, I know my cake has to be refrigerated. But what happens with the details made from fondant? I don't think they are suppose to be kept in the refrigerator!
Any suggestions on how to store my cake until it will be served without spoiling any part of it?
Thanks a lot
It'll be fine in the fridge. The fondant pieces may sweat when you take it out, because going from cold to hot, condensation may form on the outside, but it will eventually evaporate. It wont hurt it.
