I just bought some sugar veil. I am having trouble getting my circut to work with anything. I also bought some Circut frosting sheets to try. But havn't had the time yet to play with it.

lj and Noura, here are the instructions for working with SugarVeil in the Cricut: http://www.sugarveil.com/pdfs/sugarveil-electronic-cutters.pdf. Be sure to follow all the instructions - even the very tiny details make a difference. There's also a video showing SugarVeil with the Wishblade cutter at http://www.youtube.com/sugarveil#p/u/7/U607X1xhrHI. Thank you!

thanx a lot. I will try it out for sure.

Can I use any type of silicone mat for spreading and setting? like the silpat? and so I need to grease it too?

Noura, you need to grease a Silpat and any other type of silicone mat. Use Crisco-type solid fat to grease, not spray oil. The one exception to greasing is when you are using our Confectioners' Mats (one side is for lace, the reverse side is for making 'fabric' - you can see them here: http://www.sugarveil.com/mat/sugarveil-mat.htm) - no greasing is necessary.
