Question. How long did it take you to make the perfect cupcake recipe from scratch.
Just asking because experimenting with recipes from scratching instead of using box mixes

I'm kinda leaning toward "why reinvent the wheel?" myself. There are plenty of from scratch recipes that have received rave reviews, and I'm so glad people willing share them.

You may want to try some tried and true *from scratch* recipes and then tweak them to suit your needs and tastes if necessary.

I tried 6 red velvet recipes one weekend. Had the family try them, took one and tweeked it. All I did was add an extra tsp of cocoa since my girls liked a little more cocoa flavor. I've been working on strawberry. I am having a hard time finding one that taste good, but that the wrappers will not fall of of.
