I am making cupcakes for my daughter's baby shower but haven't found a recipe that I am 'in love with'. Would love some opinions on a good recipe.

When's the date? Just wondering for seasonal suggestions;o)

All of these cupcakes are made as mini cupcakes...that way you can pop the whole thing in your mouth and get all the flavors together...we call them our cupcake shots...

I can give you one of the recipes now..the others I will have to post later because they are a little more detailed.

I'm still new at the cupcake thing so I'm still using box cake mix...you can substitute your favorite cake recipe for most of these recipes and it would still turn out...

*Lemon Raspberry Cupcakes*
Super Super easy...Lemon cake mix...I use Betty Crocker...then I top with buttercream icing that has a hit of lemon and put a raspberry on top...these are my best sellers and like I said, they are super easy.

**My buttercream icing is super easy to make also---Equal parts butter ( I use 2 sticks sweet cream butter and 2 sticks salted or unsalted butter) and powdered sugar....about 1/3 cup liquid ( I use french vanilla coffee creamer in my icing but for this recipe I use part creamer and part lemon juice) flavor to taste. Cream butter and sugar together and slowly add your XXX sugar and liquid.

I forgot that when you cream your butter on my icing recipe you need to add 2tbl of vanilla

I LOVE the strawberry cupcake recipe from Sprinkles. You can good "Sprinkles strawberry cupcake recipe". It's on Oprah's website. It's absolutely delicious. Do you know what she's having? If she's having a girl, the frosting is a pretty light pink with bits of strawberry.

I must try this recipe. Sounds yummy!
