I have seen some amazing cookies lately! How on earth do you write on cookies like these breast cancer cookies?

I have tried. And tried and tried! I have used thin and thick royal icing. I have used a piping tip and a parchment bag with a tiny hole. And it just doesn't work for me.

What's the secret?!

It looks like those were made with a Kopykake- I know my writing/piping improves exponentially when I use mine.

They might have been. I don't have a kopykake but even when I try to trace a template it looks nothing like the basic letters I print out! Sigh... I dream of a day when I can do this!

i agree about the tracer/kopykat thing, can you draw on cookies with a foodsafe pencil first?
