Some asked how I did my hanging cupcakes. It really isn't hard. I took canning rings and lids.
I put ribbon on the outside of the ring with a glue gun. I use the little lids, but I think the wide mouth jar lids might work better because some of my cupcakes did hit the ribbon, or visa versa. I cut a piece of ribbon, what ever length you want. (I varied the length, but you really don't have to because the branches take care of where they hang, like ornaments on a tree) I made a bow at the top and then decorated the outside of the ring with shells. You can pick any color of ribbon you want. I thought they would be great for a wedding.
oh and I put a liner out of paper over the lid so that the bare lid wouldnt show. If anyone needs more explanation, let me know.

Thank you for taking the time to give instructions. Your cupcake tree looks great! Adding this to my ever-growing list of things I want to try.

LOL trying to give instructions is right! Sometimes my brain doesn't work. I know it may seem confusing. Maybe when I have time, I will do a little better explanation.

I thought your instructions were just fine. I'm not sure where you got the "trying" part.
