I'm wondering if this airbrush machine is any good.. The price seems too good to be true. I don't really care to have something too amazing, but a reliable one which I can use to spray paint a whole cake and do some detail work as well. Has anyone used this kit by master airbrush?

Can anyone suggest a good brush+compressor in this same price range (100-150)? Thanks!
I have a Master airbrush and LOVE IT! Much better than Kopy Kake! I didn't even pay that much for mine and it is still great. Just keep it clean and you should be good
I have this airbrush and compressor. I haven't practiced enough to really perfect any fine detail yet, but it works great for pretty much anything you want to use it for - I use it alot for coloring sugar flowers, bows, anything I want to give a metallic finish, etc. I have airbrushed whole cakes also, both fondant and buttercream. I have to admit, I become addicted to airbrushing everything with pearl spray, it has such a pretty sparkly finish. The compressor is quiet and does not pack an overly strong PSI that could blow the buttercream off your cake if you are using it for that. One complaint that I do have is that there are no instructions on how to use the airbrush or clean it. There are a couple of You-tube videos that have some basic info, but I ended up checking out some airbrush technique books (not specific to cake) at my library to at least get some basic instruction on how to use and clean it. If you take the airbrush apart to clean it, just make sure you remember how it goes back together. Keeping it clean is essential to keeping it working properly.
