I have to make a cake for an 8 year old boy, but the mom did not give me anything to work with. Any ideas?

Thanks
Dina

This is really hard when people give you nothing to work on! Just throwing this out there.... but what about doing something different like a Kit Kat cake? I've made quite a few of them for people who don't have any ideas for what they would like and I think they work out really well for younger kids too. You can add blue ribbon around the entire cake to add more of a masculine feel? Here are some links to Kit Kat Cakes.... icon_biggrin.gif

Great idea with the kit-kat cake! I think an 8 yr old boy would enjoy any cake made to look like food : pizza, hamburger, nachos, etc. It'd be safer than trying to come up with a theme. Let us know what you decide to do!

Thanks ladies for your suggestions. I think I might go with the kit kat cake. It looks surprisingly easy. I will just check with the mom to make sure he actually likes chocolate.
