I was wondering what is the best tasting fondant, I like working with the Wilton fondant but don't really like the taste. Any suggestion?

I've only worked with FondX, Satin Ice and Massa Ticino. The Massa Ticino is to die for, the FondX is very good and the Satin Ice (I only use red and black, so that may account for it) has sort of a chemical taste to it. For good-tasting home-made fondant, you can't beat Michele Foster's Fondant in any of its versions (all of which are in the recipe section here).

I absolutely detest MMF. I made three batches last week. I don't know what it is, but that stuff is not fondant. I love the buttercream flavor SatinIce.

I like Michele Foster's fondant, but I always have a hard time workin with it. I follow the recipe to the T but I feel it comes out very stiff and it's a struggle to roll. So, on my last cake I used Satin Ice and it was a breeze to use!!

i use mmf but i have to believe it is not the easiest to work with. especially here in texas where it's humid. i've used fondx before, it's fantastic, but i just can't get over the price of fondant when i can make it so cheap. plus, my customers LOVE me for my mmf!
wilton? heck no.
satin ice? might as well be wilton.
