Just ordered The Mat and can't wait for it to come. I will have to make a cake this week just to try it out! Hoping this will help me with covering my cakes.

I got one- and although I've only used it once so far, I was able to roll out the fondant perfectly the first time. It was a breeze! Let's hope it continues to work as well as it did the first time. icon_smile.gif

Hi Smore4us,
More often you use "The Mat" the easier...more flexible.

That's so great to hear! I'll be "breaking it in" a little more later this week. icon_smile.gif Do I need to season it again before using it?
THANKS!

Ditto what everyone else has said. The Mat has made it possible for me to cover cakes in fondant, which I could never master before. Do watch the videos on youtube - they will guide you through the process, and be sure to watch the one about covering square cakes, because it really works! icon_biggrin.gif

I love mine. It is so easy to work with. I don't know how any decorator can do fondant without it. LOL
I think everyone should own one. It also would make a great Christmas gift to someone who doesn't own one yet. Good luck and have lots of fun when you get yours.
